World Language

Our Sisters' School provides all students with the opportunity to study the language of their choice weekly, through either the web-based platform DuoLingo or in small groups facilitated by native-speaker instructors. Spanish and Portuguese are our most popular languages, and OSS students have also studied Arabic and Korean. We prepare our students to excel in high school language classes by providing quality exposure that builds students' grammar, vocabulary and confidence, in anticipation of a deep learning experience in secondary school.

Advanced Spanish Club

Students who identify Spanish as a home or heritage language are invited to participate in Spanish Club with Señora Mozaz, retired volunteer Spanish teacher. The group meets once a week to practice advanced reading and conversational skills.
